After launching, I get an error message that says the application must shut down.

This is a rare bug that can occur only if the following are true:

  • You have previously used the freeware version of Cache Killer that was released in 1996.
  • The old Cache Killer Prefs file used be the freeware Cache Killer has become corrupted.

Fortunately, fixing this situation is very easy! Simply trash the Cache Killer Prefs file that is in your Preferences folder and then relaunch Cache Killer Pro II.
